Ohm&Häner offers comprehensive services in aluminium casting production using the sand and gravity die casting process in accordance with EN 1706, copper sand casting in accordance with EN 1982, including the associated standards for intensive material and parts testing.
We have modern CNC machining technologies for precise mechanical processing and offer conventional machining and fixture construction.
Our surface treatments include mechanical and chemical pre-treatments as well as various coating processes such as wet painting, powder coating and anodising to ensure the quality and durability of our products.
40+ alloys
For demanding applications
Ohm&Häner offers a wide range of aluminium casting alloys, including specialised high-strength variants.
In addition, we provide aluminium alloys of the type AlMg, AlZnMg, AlZnSiMg, AlSiCuMgNi and MMC such as DURALCAN for special applications.
In addition to Red Brass and Bronce types, high-quality CuAl10Ni, CuZn21Si3P and Cu-L50 are also available in the field of Cu alloys.

Ohm&Häner offers customised aluminium solutions for a wide range of industries and supplies around 320 customers with raw castings and machined sand and permanent mould castings. In addition to engineering offices, medium-sized companies and numerous traditional companies in the machine, plant and equipment construction sector, Ohm&Häner also supplies OEM in vehicle construction (road/rail) directly.

Sustainability and environmental protection
We are already well on the way to becoming a green foundry
High proportion of renewable energies
Ohm&Häner already obtains over 60% of its electricity from renewable sources with the aim of increasing this proportion to over 80% in the near future. Since 2024, Ohm&Häner has benefited from its own photovoltaic system on 6000 square metres of roof space.
All-electric systems
Ohm&Häner operates over 90% of its melting and heat treatment systems electrically, whereas many comparable foundries still mainly operate gasfired melters.
Leading in energy efficiency
Ohm&Häner relies on state-of-the-art energy-efficient technologies, including LED lighting, frequency-controlled motors, photovoltaics, peak load management and innovative heat recovery.
