Electrical industry
Ohm&Häner supplies precision aluminium solutions for the electrical industry such as motor housings, components for instrument transformers and regenerative e-starter components. Our advanced castings promote the development of efficient and safe grid systems for the distribution of electrical energy.
Compressor manufacturing
Cast aluminium parts from Ohm&Häner have also been tried and tested in compressor construction for decades and, thanks to their weight advantages and high thermal conductivity, promote the performance and sustainability of compressors, for example for diving applications.
Valve manufacturing
For over 50 years, Ohm&Häner has been supplying aluminium components for the construction of fittings for gas pressure control lines, which have now been further developed for hydrogen. Low-maintenance functionality over very long periods of time is required here.
Automotive
Lightweight construction and precision are crucial in the automotive industry. Ohm&Häner already has experience in the production of aluminium solutions for the post-combustion engine era with ready-to-install cast components for fuel cells, crash-resistant high-performance batteries and dynamically stressed chassis parts.
Utility vehicles
Ohm&Häner's utility vehilce portfolio is still dominated by aluminium cast components for low-emission diesel drives. However, weight-reduced rear axle drive housings with integrated electric motors - the innovative technology of the future - are already being manufactured for fully electric lorries.

Medical technology
For medical technology, Ohm&Häner supplies components for CT and MRT devices and travelling ceiling beams. One particular example is our housings for the position of the X-ray tube made from a special copper alloy, which contribute to the development of safe and precise medical devices.
Ship construction
